Chief Operating Officer
Bob oversees and manages EMCOR Services Fagan’s day-to-day operations and procedures. He reviews and analyzes the firm’s financial reports, participates in budgeting and forecasting, and collaborates with EMCOR corporate executives regarding risk management, profit/loss reporting, and bonding.
As a key member of the executive team, Bob is a team builder, and his management style reflects this. He ensures that the right people are placed in the right positions and helps provide them with the tools needed for success. He is a firm believer that communication is key to accomplishing the goals of the firm, its employees, and our customer base.
With nearly three decades of experience in mechanical contracting businesses, Bob has gained knowledge in nearly every aspect of the industry. He began in the field as an installation mechanic and advanced to superintendent, followed by labor manager. Later in his career, he moved into estimating, project management, and operations.
Bob has dedicated ten years to Fagan thus far, and has held roles as labor manager, senior project manager, and most recently vice president of operations. Each role and career experience has culminated into what Bob considers to be a crucial and valuable leadership perspective.
Bob holds various mechanical licenses, is a LEED AP and master mechanic, has completed Sandler Sales Training, and is a graduate of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America Advanced Leadership Institute.
He participates in the Mechanical Contractors Association, Builders Association, and Design-Build Institute of America, and is an active member on the board of directors for the local Sheet Metal Air Conditioning National Association (SMACNA). He is also on the board of trustees for the MOKAN Health and Welfare Fund and is former chairman of the Young Executives Committee.
Bob has been married for 26 years and has three daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, in addition to hiking, mountain climbing, trail running, and cycling.
